Twelve Months Ago....
It was twelve short months ago when I drove to Stockbridge to look at property available for sale. One place really intrigued me: The Palmer Farm in Stockbridge. I should have been terrified of the place, based on the exterior pictures I saw on line. Having rehabbed a few houses over the years, I realized how daunting such a project can be. (When I bought a fixer-upper in California years ago I asked my friend Rocky what my first move should be. He looked at the place and said "Buy a bulldozer and knock this dump down.")
Rather than being horrified by the place, on September 25, 2016 I called a broker and asked them to show me the place. Here is the first picture of the house:
